My First Key - Abstract - by artist ~ANTMy First Key

by ~ANT

Jackson Pollock, a snapped piece of tongue-n-groove sub-floor, and a brass key. Mix ‘em up!

Recipe:

1. Add the fact that my roommate Ann and I both are fascinated by Jackson Pollock’s artwork. We watched the movie Pollock and during renovations of Ann’s dining room

2. Add a piece of sub-floor that snapped away underfoot from the renovation.

3. Add the key from when I changed the locks on the doors to the house shortly after she moved into her first house. This is the original key to her first house.

Servings: A colorful, sentimental look at a small chunk of history served with respect over time.
