diverse cohesion

diverse cohesion was my first major piece. I was commissioned to create a piece that showed movement, flow, and teamwork. I also wanted to include the idea of various people of any and all backgrounds working together to create magic.

Someone asked me just before I had started if I knew how to paint. My simple reply was, “Yes, though I have never really painted much of anything”. One of the many reasons for making sculpture art was to learn how to paint. Since the time I created diverse cohesion, my artwork has continued to evolve and at the same time, I have gone from creating 3D pieces to 2D pieces.
